L'aggettivo seasonable significa “di stagione” nel senso di ciò che è normale o usuale in un certo periodo dell'anno: seasonable November winds, venti tipici del mese di novembre. Seasonal significa, invece, “stagionale” e si usa soprattutto in riferimento a ciò che si svolge in certi periodi dell'anno, in particolare nel contesto economico: seasonal employment, lavoro stagionale; Allowing for seasonal factors, unemployment dropped slightly last month, tenendo conto dei fattori stagionali, la disoccupazione si è abbassata leggermente il mese scorso.
